David is a registered Clinical Psychologist who is passionate about helping people improve their psychological health and wellbeing. He is naturally caring, thoughtful, curious, and collaborative in his manner with people of all backgrounds. His experience includes working in a range of settings, including private and public hospitals, community mental health and psychology clinics, as well as not-for-profit organisations supporting people with anxiety and depression.
David is experienced in a number of evidence-based therapies including Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Schema Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT). David also draws on Psychoanalytic/Psychodynamic therapy, Interpersonal Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing.
David will work collaboratively with you in creating a safe therapeutic space to address your situation and needs. David sees people aged 16 years and above. Examples of issues that David can assist you with include:
Telehealth service
In addition to holding sessions in Carlton North and Camberwell, David offers telehealth (i.e., telephone or videoconferencing) based sessions to accomodate for those unable or preferring not to attend face-to-face sessions.
Sessions conducted by video will be done through an easy to use and secure online program called Coviu. You can undertake telehealth sessions from home or whereever is safe and comfortable for you.
Telehealth session fees are eligible for Medicare rebates and can be discounted according to an individual's circumstances. Please see the "Fees" section of this website for more info.
